Delhi Metro Fare Guide: Slabs, Smart Card and Sunday Fares
Delhi Metro fares depend on the distance travelled, not the number of stops.
| Distance | Normal day | Sunday and holidays |
| Up to 2 km | ₹11 | ₹11 |
| 2 to 5 km | ₹21 | ₹11 |
| 5 to 12 km | ₹32 | ₹21 |
| 12 to 21 km | ₹43 | ₹32 |
| 21 to 32 km | ₹54 | ₹43 |
| Above 32 km | ₹64 | ₹54 |
Smart card users get about 10% off the normal fare. These slabs match widely published figures, but DMRC can revise fares, so confirm with DMRC before you rely on them. The Airport Express Line has its own fares.
Tickets and cards
Besides single-journey tokens and QR tickets, DMRC sells a rechargeable smart card and tourist cards. Commonly cited prices are ₹200 for a one-day tourist card and ₹500 for a three-day tourist card, with a smart card costing about ₹150 to buy. Prices and refund rules change, so confirm on the DMRC site.
